Question: I like to convery my Toyota Camry 2004 to dual fuel. Which system will be best for my car, Sprintgas systems.?
like to convery my Toyota Camry 2004 to dual fuel. Which system will be best for my car, Sprintgas systems or Injection System and WHY?

Answer: None! Why are you wasting your money on a piece of crap car? Sell it get an Altima instead. Much better value and a whole lot better looking!

Question: Has anyone been road bullied by a grey toyota camry SGS8826Z?
Singapore: There is this guy driving a grey toyota camry SG8826Z, i believe staying around woodlands area, and sends his kids to the singapore sports school, tried to swerve his car to hit mine in an attempt to 'scare' after he tailgated me. And i was well at 60km/h on the small road. He then insulted all cars smaller than his and claims that he is rich and has the right to do such thing. On top of that, he claimed that since his car did not hit mine, lawfully he did not do anything wrong, and I should go back to study. I said that God knows, and he exclaimed "What God? Who is God?!" Can someone tell me how I should deal with such a person? What would you do if you were in my situation? My wife and 20 months baby were in the car.

Answer: That camry guy is a shitty arrogant showoff! Don't worry, you do not need to do anything. He has insulted everyone's god and all gods will take care of him.

One of these days, you might see his car kissing a tree.

Question: How to change transmission oil for Toyota Camry 2002 XLE?
Does anyone know how to remove the transmission oil for Camry 2002? Where is the drain plug ? I can't fint it. Where is the exact location?

Secondly, how to pour the fresh trasmission oil into the transmission ?

Thanks

Answer: Is it stick shift or automatic transmission? Stick? you are better off to go to a mechanic. Automatic,1st, jack the front of the car and use a ramp if you have one, then you'll see a bolt on the transmission oil pan and loosen it but be sure to have a container wating for the fluid that would be flushed out (old tranny flud) change the filter as well. Then pour your new tranny fluid through the hole where your tranny fluid dip stick is inserted, use a funnel with extension. And you'll need a second person for the 3rd part. 3rd part would be checking its level and dip stick should indicate it but you must put the tranny in gear (D) to check the level. So you need another person to put it in gear while he is stepping on the brake.

Question: Trying to find toyota camry trunk lens?
i'm trying to replace the rear center lens of a 1993 toyota camry you have the two rear lens and then a center one. I can't find the name of it or where i can order one from to replace it because the glass broke. If anyone could help me out that would be great. Maybe an web page where i can locate it.

Answer: Toyota calls it the "Finish Panel." Unfortunately, new, it will cost you $194. This is the website: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=213747

In the body parts catalog, put in the year and make of your car. Then click on trunk lid > Exterior Trim > Finish Panel.

Or, if you want a used one for about $50. Go to www.car-part.com and select the year make and model of your car, and look under "Third Brake Lamp" or "Tail Light" Some say "with camry logo" This is what you want. Keep calling the junk yards until you find one that has what you're looking for.

Question: How should I prepare my California Toyota Camry to live in Minnesota?
I live in California, and I'm selling my car to my daughter in Minnesota in July.

My car of course does not know snow, or icy roads, or any of that stuff they have in Minnesota.

I have anti-freeze, of course, as it does freeze here occasionally in the winter, and my heater works, and the car is generally running very well.

However, I've never lived in such a harsh cold climate, and my poor car has not either! What should I do prior to my selling so that she has a good car for the climate?

Answer: Well generally you should not have to do to much. If your car is relatively new, less than 100,000, the antifreeze should still be fine. You may want to add a little more straight antifreeze if you are unsure. It is cheap and it is better to be safe then to have the car freeze up and have to replace the engine. Also if the elevation is extremely high you may have to replace the oxygen sensors. There is a small chance this will apply. The best bet with this is just to wait until you get there and if it is running like crap, loss of power, then this is your problem. Also in Minnesotta I believe it rains alot. Does your car run good in the rain in California? If it does than there is nothing to be concerned with. If it does not ie. it sputters and there is a lack of power then the spark plugs and wires may need to be replaced. Other than that consult your owners manual to determine which engine oil the manufacturers recommends for your car in those temperatures. It is a certaintanty that it will be much thinner than you run in California due to the fact that oil thickens and gels up in cold climates. That is about all I can think of. The most important being the engine oil and the antifreeze. Hope all is well and enjoy your trip.

Question: '95 Toyota Camry is making a clunking sound under the car almost every time I take my foot off the accelerator
When I drive along, I'll press the accelerator, get up speed and then when I take my foot off the pedal or completely stop accelerating I can feel and hear a clunking sound under the car. It has been getting worse and I have no idea what it is?! The car still drives well, but it feels bad. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

Answer: could be a bad motor mount, while your accelerating the engine raises slightly because the mount is broken and stops when it hits the hood...everythign appears fine until you let off the accelerator, when you do this, you've taken the torque off the engine and it settles back down on the mount, hence the thud...
A way to check this would be to open the hood, while holding your foot firmly on the brake, push the accelrator with the right foot reving the engine slightly, if it revs but doesn't move, the moutn is ok, but if the mountn is broken the engine will hop up out of place....indicating a broken motor mount...
Don't accelerate too hard, just enough to see the engine hop once should be enough...
You will then need to have the mounts replaced...
You should do this because it could cause other problems such as your fan blade hitting the shroud or radiator.... Good luck

Question: Whats the largest tire size I can put on a 2005 Toyota Camry XLE V6?
The original size of the tire is 215/60/16. Whats the largest size I can put on a 2005 XLE V6 Camry? Also what would the tire size be if I wanted the tires to be an inch wider?

One last thing... any recommendations on what tire I should get? I live in Southern California so I prefer a sporty yet quiet tire rather than a tire designed for snowy conditions. Thanks.

Answer: The largest tire size you can put on an 05 Camry XLE is 19 inches. You can visit www.tirerack.com for more tire choices and rims. I would go with a Goodyear tire because they're reliable and durable.

Question: Light indicator on my Toyota Camry came on How do I find out what it means?
The light is a car with rear Flashing in the back I checked all the lights and they are working. What does it mean.

Answer: Could it be that your trunk lid is jarred open and not latched properly? Sometimes the contacts go bad and the dummy lights come on even when they shouldn't. Or you could have a shorted wire somewhere (which could be a result of getting wet.) Also, check to be sure that your license plate lights are working and illuminated properly. That's not usually something that most people think to check. Have you checked your blinkers and your brake lights also? Just a few suggestions here. Hope that helps!

Question: How safe is a Toyota Camry?
I'm thinking of getting a Camry and I currently have an SUV. Now, I live in the south where everyone and their uncle drive big trucks and lot'sa people have cattleguards on the front of their big trucks. Is a Camry a good idea? We don't have children yet. Is there a website that can give me an idea of safe vehicles? Thanks :o)

Answer: The Camry has a good frontal crash rating, but many Camrys have miserable side impact ratings. In 2002 the Camry only had a 2 star side impact crash test result based on the national highway and transportation safety administration. (NHTSA). You can see all the ratings here: http://www.safercar.gov/

Also check out the ratings given by the insurance institute at: http://www.iihs.org
They do different testing and sometimes the testing done is extreme, but it gives you a gauge point.

The reason for the excessive cost for repairs as mentioned previously is due to the fact that the car, as most are today, designed for energy absorption. Basically energy in an accident must be absorbed, either by the human body or by the metal of the vehicle. Better to distort metal than to tranfer it to the human. Means if you do get in an accident, you'll have a better chance of walking away, but also be stuck without a car. Thus are the trade offs for safety.

Question: Why does my 1995 Toyota Camry temperature gauge always read low? Should I get the thermostat changed?
For some reason the temperature gauge always fluctuates from
cold to just below the mid point of the gauge. I'm not sure if it's the thermostat or the gauge. Is there any way for me to check either or both?

Answer: If by fluctuating you mean it goes up and down even while driving, that's a problem. If you mean it starts low, goes up to that point and stays there, that's normal. If it is actually fluctuating (moves up and down in the same trip), have the thermostat replaced right away. If it is operating incorrectly, it can also stick and cause the engine to overheat.

Midway of the gauge should be about 190F to 200F. Test the temp of the engine at the aluminum housing sticking out of the end of the head over the transmission while the engine is running and hot. It should read somewhere around that, down to 180 is OK. If that is about wher it is, the gauge/sender are OK.

If there is any question on the t-stat, justs replace it. It is a whole lot cheaper than a new engine!

Hope this helps. God Bless!

Question: How do you fix a door on a 1998 Toyota Camry?
A couple weeks ago but passanger side front door stopped opening from the outside. Either the lock is stuck in the lock position or the handle broken inside to door. I can open the door from the inside, and the power look switched on the inside, but the outer handle does nothing.

answer: take out all the screws and remove the inside door panel ,then look inside the door and while looking lift up on the outside door handle.the rod that goes from the handle to your latch.look at it if everything looks ok it would be your latch.
but pro-bally the outside door handle is broken.

Question: How do you like your 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid?
Owners of 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid, how do you like it? And what stuff you don't like?

Answer: i don't own one but i've heard nothing but great things from owners. the gas mileage is great for a car of that size. quiet, refined, good handling, nice interior, nice option packages.

i hear the trunk is kinda smaller because of the battery.

Question: What kind of gas mileage are you really getting on your Toyota Camry Hybrid?
I know Toyota is publishing 40 mpg but that's using the notoriously inaccurate EPA method. Anyone actually measure it themselves?

Answer: According to the GreenHybrid.com Mileage Database, the Camry Hybrid is getting, on average, about 37 mpg, in a sample of 118 cars.

Not exactly what Toyota published, but certainly not bad for a midsize sedan, either.
